The Center for Functional Fitness is a state of the art training facility offering a variety of cardiovascular, strength, and core training equipment. Service is our priority. Within our walls we will strive to provide a comfortable, clean and safe environment for you to train in. Our staff is dedicated to assessing the needs and goals of each member, and then creating a work-out to fit the goals. Through the scientific application of specific training techniques, we will enable YOU to obtain an optimum level of fitness.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY FUNCTIONAL TRAINING?
Functional training is meant to train your whole body rather than individual muscles. Research has demonstrated that the muscles in our bodies work in synergy to produce the powerful movements needed to lift objects, swing clubs, throw balls, jump, run, hike, and swim. It is our philosophy, that if you want to get your body to function at a higher level, it makes more sense to train it the way it functions. The system will train your whole body in a spectrum of activities, from cardiovascular training to functional flexibility, and from balance training to the development of functional strength. The results will allow you to demonstrate functional transfer: The ability to not only change the way you look and feel, but to express the gains you make directly at work, home, and at play.
